Advanced Learner Loan (Pay nothing up front)

If you are aged 19 or over, you are likely to qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan from the UK Government. It is easy to apply for and there are no credit checks.

Repayments only start when your salary exceeds the threshold (currently set at £27,295.  If you come into repayment from April 2021).

Am I eligible for the Advanced Learner Loan?

To be eligible you must be:

• Aged 19 or older on the first day of your course
• A UK national, or have ‘settled status’ in the UK, and resident in the UK for at least 3 years prior to starting your course
• Studying for an eligible qualification with an approved training provider in England
• You may also be eligible if you are an EU national member, a refugee, migrant worker or a serving member of the armed forces.
